The department of Physical Therapy & Human Movement Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the areas of neurologic physical therapy. Primary responsibilities will include teaching in the neurologic course series and contributing to research in the area of neurologic and biomechanics research. Additional responsibilities of the position include scholarship, student advising, and service on departmental committees.

Rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. Salary is negotiable. The ideal applicant will be a physical therapist eligible for Illinois licensure (required) with an earned DPT and PhD/DSc/EdD. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching in neurologic coursework in entry-level physical therapy curricula and a scholarly record including peer-reviewed publications, and national presentations. In this position, the candidate will have primary responsibilities to substantially contribute in our top-ranked DPT teaching and research programs which are innovative, team-based, concept-structured, based on scientific evidence, and emphasizes active learning of DPT and PhD students. The successful applicant will have opportunities for clinical practice.
