Job Summary
The ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Tutor implements individual curriculum and behavioral treatment to at least 4 preschool children (i.e., 1.0 FTE) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); records accurate data regarding child's skill acquisition and target behaviors; maintains curriculum materials.
Essential Functions
  • Participates in implementation of intervention techniques as outlined by curriculum and behavioral intervention plans under direct supervision of the TLF HOPE Center Clinical Manager.
  • Records accurate data regarding child's acquisition of skills and other target behaviors; maintains generalization data for previously acquired skills; creates and maintains behavioral graphs. Completes treatment notes daily and reviews with parents.
  • Assists Clinical Manager during parent consultation and parent training sessions by demonstrating behavioral procedures to parents, and assisting with appropriate communication with parents.
  • Assists in training of practicum students (via modeling, as well as verbal and written feedback).
  • Assists in the maintenance of curriculum materials (e.g., curriculum binder, data sheets, program specific stimuli, student specific materials etc.); additional maintenance activities necessary to ensure clean and safe treatment area for patients.
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree Psychology or related field
  • Basic knowledge of ABA and experience implementing ABA techniques highly preferred. Preferred
  • Previous ABA experience Preferred
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children. Preferred
