About the unit The Rehab and Nursing Center is a 39 bed unit adjoined to Greenville Hosptial. Our Rehab and Nursing Centers have been providing services in West Michigan for 20+ years. While working on this unit you will provide care to short term sub-acute patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, infections, illness, falls, and cardiac surgery. Our residents range in age, diversity and acuity levels. At the Greenville Rehab and Nursing Center help residents live a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible. You can trust the quality of our care because we've earned national recognition from several organizations. Scope of work Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality, direct patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit. Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
