Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator. Responsibilities include maintaining a productive surgical practice in spinal disease and disorders, teaching and mentoring neurosurgical residents and fellows, advancing knowledge in the field through publication and presentation of discoveries and best-practices in patient care, and participating in translational research within the department to identify new therapies for patients with neurological cancers. This position will collaborate in our multidisciplinary spine practice (including Orthopedic Surgery, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and other partners). Qualified candidates will be a board eligible/board certified neurosurgeon; advanced training and/or experience in spine required. Ability to obtain active Illinois medical licensure prior to start date required. Faculty rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor will be determined based on qualifications. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
