Hours: This is a part-time position (20 hours per week/8:30am-12:30pm / 1:30pm-5:30pm)
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Administrative Assistant 1 for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

This position provides standard & routine clerical & administrative support for curricular and career services programs and initiatives for the Office of Undergraduate Programs and Advising (OUPA), which includes Academic Advising and Career Services (EPICS), in the School of Communication. Processes student record, enrollment and financial transactions, staffs the OUPA reception area and provides administrative assistance for program events. Reports to the Associate Dean.

Please note: We are looking for 2 positions with different time schedules. One for 8:30am-12:30pm; and another for 1:30pm-5:30pm.

Qualifications Required:

A high school diploma or equivalent required.1 year of administrative support or other relevant experience required. 1. Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required.

Software Required:

MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
