The Institute for Augmented Intelligence in Medicine (I.AIM) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The mission of the Institute for Augmented Intelligence in Medicine is to bridge computational methods with human expertise to advance medical science and improve human health. We aspire to be the premier academic institution applying augmented intelligence to human health. The creative application of artificial intelligence, machine learning and stored information to improve pattern recognition, genetic analysis and deep phenotyping of health data is anchored by our commitment to responsible, ethical and open science.

Responsibilities include maintaining a research program as an independent investigator, collaborating with other interdisciplinary biomedical and/or public health research teams, both internal and external to the University, advancing the mission and values of the University and I.AIM, and maintaining a clinical practice (as applicable).

Qualified candidates will hold an MD and be board certified/board eligible OR hold a PhD in a bioinformatics related field and have an established sponsored research funding portfolio. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Preferred areas of research focus include data integration, data quality, clinical informatics, and areas at the intersection of data, clinical expertise and computational methods.
