Target hiring range for this position will be between $86,533-$108,166 per year#LI-GY2. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

About Us:

The Department of Medical Social Sciences (MSS; www.mss.northwestern.edu) is a leader in advancing and applying outcomes/effectiveness research to improve patient care and influence policy. We support the National Institutes of Health's state-of-the-science patient-reported outcomes measurement systems under the HealthMeasures (www.healthmeasures.net) umbrella. Our HealthMeasures team consists of measurement scientists with expertise developing, validating, and implementing patient-reported outcomes measures

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Project Manager to join the HealthMeasures team. This role will be instrumental in disseminating and marketing patient-reported outcome measures, software, and services provided by HealthMeasures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures globally and promote patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for HealthMeasures

Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content and fostering user engagement

Design and produce marketing materials, including flyers and brochures

Coordinate content updates for the HealthMeasures website

Support conference planning to showcase HealthMeasures products and services

Maintain and expand a database cataloging the use of Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) measures

Collaborate with HealthMeasures colleagues to gather and disseminate the latest updates and research

Translate complex scientific information into accessible and engaging content for various platforms

Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in healthcare marketing

Specific Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Coordinate and track the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing of marketing projects in support of organizational area's strategic objectives and ongoing operations.
  • Interacts with project leadership to determine and document project objectives, scope, functional requirements, metrics, key performance indicators and stakeholders.

Administration

  • Coordinates marketing projects; administers and maintains project management tools, assists in planning, estimating and scheduling project work and supports monitoring and reporting of project progress.
  • Tracks initiation and execution of marketing efforts.
  • Collaborates with leadership to determine project timelines and scope, in cooperation with senior staff.
  • Writes marketing content and reports.
  • Communicates project status, decisions, updates, revisions and changes to all stakeholders facilitating decision-making and project progress.

Development

  • Performs research for future marketing efforts.
  • Develops and maintains organizational area's patient-reported outcome database.

Performance

  • Collaborates with the functional teams to construct, update and track digital marketing content.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years project/program management or other relevant experience required.
