About Lemmen Holton Cancer Center We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy, and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer. Scope of work Clinical Manager, Ambulatory will lead oncology nurse navigation and multispecialty cancer team in Corewell Health West division. The manager will oversee a team of nurse patient navigators and multispecialty access representatives to provide access to oncology services and patient support. The oncology nurse navigation team provides individualized assistance and care to patients, families, and caregivers throughout all phases of the cancer continuum utilizing oncology-specific clinical knowledge. Nurse navigators assist patients with healthcare system barriers and provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access. The cancer multispecialty team clinic provides comprehensive and coordinated care to patients with brain and spine tumors, bone, sarcoma/soft tissue cancer, lung tumors or cancer, prostate or genitourinary (urologic) cancer (including bladder,kidney,or testicular cancers), and melanoma. The manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring a timely and efficient patient throughput process while providing excellent patient experience. This includes collaborating with Cancer Care leaders to set goals, manage weekly huddles, and develop innovative methods to improve patient access and navigation quality and efficiency. The manager will plan, track, and manage activity throughout the programs and promote teamwork among cross-functional teams.
