About Corewell Health South

The health system comprises threehospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatientmedical servicesthroughout Southwest Michigan.

Scope of Work

Drives projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement. Work assignments are typically more complex involving multi-disciplinary teams. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and drives sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable quality improvement. Collects and analyzes process and/or quality data to initiate, develop, and influence operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes. Facilitates large improvement projects in coordination with leaders and providers to drive continuous improvement. Flexible in adapting to changing priorities. Mentors colleagues in improvement science application across the organization. Drives strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Healthcare related field
  • Preferred Master's Degree Healthcare related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience Quality improvement, performance improvement, project management or related field Required
  • 2 years of relevant experience Participation on improvement initiatives Preferred
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), IHI Open School preferred
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), IHI Improvement Coach Program preferred
  • CRT-Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified (CPHQ) - NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
