HonorHealth is looking for an X-Ray Tech to support the Ortho Sports Medicine Clinic. This is a growing clinic of Providers, APPs, MAs, Front Office, Reg Sched, other Xray Techs, Scheduler, Referral Coord, and a Scribe who all report directly to the Practice Manager. The clinic provides services to Pediatric sport injuries and fractures as well as a geriatric patient population ranging from 10 to 90 years. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of HSD or GED and completion of a Radiology/ARRT program, and two (2) years of experience is preferred with a trauma or urgent care background. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) card and current ARRT certification are requirements. Responsibilities Job Summary Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned. Performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package. Staff member may be required to provide coverage at various locations in the network.
Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED completion of an ARRT accredited Required Other Radiography program or US military Radiography training Required Experience Successful completion of radiologic training Required Licenses and Certifications Radiology\ARRT - Radiology Tech License ARRT (R) credential and licensure must be provided prior to start date Required Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license and must be provided prior to start date Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required |
