Overview

The Sales Specialist works with the Lead Salesperson to meet agreed sales and revenue targets.As the Foreign Exchange (FX), and Rates Sales Specialist, you will generate detailed client / product knowledge, market knowledge, and cultivate client relationships to generate sales opportunities. You will work to develop deep understanding of the client need / product detail and Bank's capabilities with the aim of meeting client satisfaction expectations. You will be conversant with relevant legal, regulatory, and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly.

What You'll Do

  • Grow Global Emerging Markets (GEM) fixed income and currencies advisory strategy out of New York

  • Build out franchise and lead marketing efforts across cross-border business and regulatory landscape, spanning solutions for FX, rates, financing, and yield-enhancement solutions

  • Drive Global Emerging Markets (GEM) workflow automation solutions which include payment/collections, liquidity workflow in currency restricted markets, risk management activities

  • Manage the growth of GEM MNC franchise, establish annual business objectives and target. Develop the Asia and LatAm MNC franchise in partnership with coverage teams and product including Corporate Banking Coverage

  • Showcase entrepreneurship with the deep understanding of the client needs, product knowledge, investment capabilities, and operational set up to bring a new journey together with the clients and the prospects

  • Partner with functional leads to evaluate operating model to identify and address areas of improvement, establish business review process in conjunction with leadership teams

How You'll Lead

  • Identify client origination targets and work with internal teams across US Corporates and Non-US MNC's

  • Focus on flow and structured products / risk solutions across all asset classes

  • Close liaison with existing clients and in addition, focus on working to secure relationships with new clients to drive incremental revenue

Skills You'll Need

  • Business Management degree or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience

  • Extensive financial industry experience

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Commercial mindset and the ability to further drive our Asia and LatAm franchise while having a good understanding how to optimize cross-selling (Asia Inbound, Intra GEM)

  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, ability to manage priorities and work in demanding fast-paced environment

  • Results-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team member, coupled with the enthusiasm to deliver world-leading solutions for our clients

  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of teams and individuals and influence outcomes

  • Solution driven and can use initiative to propose new, practical strategies/solutions

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 to $275,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
