As the Benefits Strategy Leader (Employee Health Benefits Manager), you will lead the research, analysis, and implementation of benefit initiatives with a focus on strategic planning, cost-effectiveness, and benefit enhancement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assess current healthcare benefits and identify areas for improvement based on data-driven insights.

  • Develop strategic recommendations to enhance healthcare benefits, including medical benefits and on-site clinic partnerships.

  • Analyze the potential impact of proposed benefit changes and develop comprehensive business cases and presentations to articulate the rationale and expected outcomes.

  • Create and manage project plans for the implementation of new healthcare benefit initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for on-site clinic partners, healthcare providers, and vendors to negotiate contracts and oversee their selection and implementation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and optimize healthcare service delivery.

  • Manage budgetary considerations and financial forecasting related to healthcare benefit programs.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing healthcare benefit programs through metrics and analytics and implement continuous improvements as needed.

  • Monitor industry trends, legislative changes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and adaptability of healthcare benefit strategies.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.

  • 6-8 years of experience in benefits management, self-funded plans, on-site clinic management, strategic planning, or related field, with demonstrated success in driving innovative benefit initiatives.

  • Proven ability to lead the development of strategic recommendations to enhance benefits offerings, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, legislative developments, and industry trends affecting benefits design and administration.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to enhance benefits offerings in alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Experience in developing and presenting comprehensive business cases to support proposed benefit initiatives.

  • Understanding of industry trends, market benchmarks, and regulatory requirements related to benefits management.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar credentials are a plus.
