Maintenance

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) currently has an opening for a self-motivated full time Maintenance person to join our team in Eagle Grove, IA! This person will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting various issues by completing appropriate maintenance and repair/replacement of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Repair/replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed
• Perform and maintain lubrication and preventive maintenance
• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and method of operation
• Perform welding, torch and plasma cutting to complete various repairs
• Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and location parts for other departments
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate
• Maintain plant sanitation standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by facility management
• Document and record maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance tasks

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
• Two years' experience in a mechanically related field or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English. .
• Ability to understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Ability to operate a forklift, bobcat and end-loader
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• This position requires physical labor ( lifting, bending, pulling, climbing stairs, etc.)
