SUMMARY The Medication Use & Drug Information Coordinator is responsible for oversight and coordination of systematic additions, removals and standardization of medications across the health system, in addition to providing support for the development and implementation of medication use protocols. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy Techonology, Informatics, and Business Operations. - Facilitates and oversees all additions, removals, and standardization of medications across the health system. - Precepts pharmacy students and pharmacy residents. - Provision of patient-centered, evidence-based pharmaceutical care. Other Duties as Assigned QUALIFICATIONS - PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy - Two (2) or more years job related experience including medication use oversight, formulary management, and collaboration with EMR architecture teams. - Completion of a PGY-1 pharmacy residency or equitable experience (3 years) in a health system of informatics role. - Licensed Pharmacist in the State of GA Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity |
