Job Title: Product Manager - Automation Engineering

Reponsibilites:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team, focusing on Automation Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, coupled with a deep understanding of automation technologies. You will work closely with a team of talented automation engineers to define and deliver innovative solutions that streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to deliver high-quality automation products.
- Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Market and Customer Insights:
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for automation.
- Analyze competitive products and industry trends to ensure our automation solutions are best-in-class.
- Requirements Definition:
- Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new automation features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that requirements are well-understood and feasible within the technical constraints.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for automation products.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance, including successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in the product development process and work with engineering teams to mitigate them.
- Ensure that automation solutions adhere to security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Customer Advocacy:
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that automation solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback and validate product ideas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on automation, engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, tools, and trends.
- Experience working with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on understanding and solving customer problems.
- Technical background or hands-on experience in automation engineering is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based automation solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and A/B testing.
