JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on project management activities such as managing and running meetings, developing schedules, creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and milestones. This role will also involve tracking project progress, reporting, and creating dashboards using tools like Power BI. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting Management: Organize and run project meetings, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Schedule Development: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Develop and manage WBS to ensure all project tasks are clearly defined and assigned.
- Gantt Charts and Milestones: Create and update Gantt charts to visually represent project timelines and track milestones.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders through detailed reports.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain project dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to provide visual insights into project performance.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) to manage tasks, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project). Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard tools is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
