What You Will Do

In this role, you will



  • Articulate the productvision and strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize the productbacklog to focus on the most valuable features and tasks.
  • Create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of the product
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure a clear understanding of business objectives.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure the product incrementsmeets user needs and business goals.
  • Track and report on productprogress and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external groups to remove impediments.
  • Ensure the productadheres to legal, regulatory, and company standards and policies.
  • Champion and advocate for the end user to ensure the productdelivers a high-quality user experience.
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies to adapt the product



Who We Are Looking For

Required Experience and Skills



  • Bachelor's degree, any field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 5+ years industry experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • The ability to gain approval of product vision with business users and communicate this to technology professionals.
  • The ability to articulate detailed requirements and technical design documents that are understandable both to the business sponsor and the technology professionals (written, verbal, and visual forms).
  • Keep current on all relevant trends in employee benefits and application development through conferences, magazines, books and internet research.
  • Compatibility with Milliman Professionals, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Sensitive to Quality, Communication Skills, Flexibility, Priority Identification, and Project Management.
  • CPSO certification.


Personal Qualifications



  • Works well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work product.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to productively respond to change.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.



Location

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $96,000 - $194,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
