Normal 8 hr shifts between the hours of 7am - 6pm

Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):

Maintains compliance for various IT system(s) and supporting operational processes. The position leverages regulatory guidelines and business best practices to meet current and ever-changing requirements, improve processes, and strengthen compliance within the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the creation and maintenance of documented technical procedures, contributions to reducing human performance errors, and elimination of audit findings. Ideal candidate must be a team player and comfortable working in an IT operations area governed by regulatory requirements.

Leads compliance related system operations tasks utilizing comprehension of regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of cyber security architecture & technology best practices is essential to ensure effective compliance processes and procedures are implemented for systems supported. Expectation is process improvement by continuous evaluation of existing processes and tools for failure points resulting in the implementation of controls to mitigate future potential failures. Position is responsible for generation and collection of compliance evidence required to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

Coordinates with cyber security, compliance & application teams to recognize and implement technical solutions to comply with regulatory standards while identifying and implementing automation of repetitive tasks prone to human performance error.

What are the top (at least 3 if possible) "must have" skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?

1. Experience with compliance in support of critical systems. Knowledge of NERC CIP standards is highly desired.

2. Ability to perform manual data reviews and analysis with keen attention to detail to identify discrepancies or errors. Must have current or recent experience performing similar work.

3. Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

What are the top "nice to have" skill sets?

1. Thorough knowledge of NERC CIP standards/requirements, intent behind those standards/requirements, and industry interpretations of those standards/requirements

2. Experience supporting procedure development and management, routine compliance tasks, and overall compliance program management for a complex and large-scale distributed system.

3. Knowledge and understanding of ICS/SCADA systems and environments, electric utility industry, and power grid

4. System administration, development and general cybersecurity knowledge/background

1. Works well in a team and can work well with different personality types

2. Can work under tight deadlines and in an environment with low tolerance for errors or mistakes.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What education and certifications/licensures are required?

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Mathematics desired

3+ Years of relevant professional experience can serve as substitution

1. Electric Utility Industry

Would candidate be eligible for mileage reimbursement?

1. Candidate would have to comply with DE's corporate expense policy, which would dictate how any reimbursements would be handled if travel outside of the normal work territory is required.
