Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic sales leader to serve as our VP, MSP Sales. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our MSP partner ecosystem on a global scale. The VP, MSP Sales will lead a team dedicated to establishing and nurturing partnerships with MSPs, enabling them to deliver our cybersecurity solutions effectively to their clients. This position reports to our SVP, WW Partners and will have 6 direct reports and 20+ Channel Account Managers located throughout the world. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global strategy for expanding and engaging our MSP and MSSP partner networks. This involves identifying target markets, setting partner criteria, and establishing key performance indicators to gauge success. Partner Engagement: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with MSP and MSSP partners, acting as a strategic advisor. Work closely with partners to align Mimecast's solutions with their offerings, driving mutual growth and success. Program Innovation: Collaborate with the MSP and MSSP Program leaders to implement MSP partner programs. This includes creating sales and marketing resources, delivering training and certification programs, and supporting joint go-to-market strategies. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a global team of MSP partner managers and enablement professionals. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to enable the team to achieve their goals and deliver exceptional results. Performance Management: Define, monitor, and optimize key performance metrics for the MSP and MSSP partner programs. Regularly review progress, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, product management, and engineering to ensure alignment on partner strategies, drive joint initiatives, and maximize the impact of our partner ecosystem. Thought Leadership: Represent Mimecast as a thought leader in the MSP and MSSP partner communities. Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to share insights and best practices, helping to shape the future of cybersecurity partnerships. Essential Skills and Experience
