JOB DESCRIPTION

As a KeyBank intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects and networking with management and other professionals in selected areas during your 10-week program (June 2, 2025 - August 11, 2025). Upon successful completion of the internship program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role upon college graduation of your bachelor or graduate degree. The four cornerstones of the internship program include: Surveillance Financial Analyst tasks, a Stretch Project, Loan Servicing & Asset Management 101 courses, and Networking.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Collecting and analyzing annual property inspections, quarterly rent roll/occupancy reports, and operating statements.
  • Assessing cash flows, debt yield coverages, lease terms, physical deterioration, and market conditions.
  • Researching property performance and communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Analyze property inspections, rent roll/occupancy reports, and operating statements.
  • Assess financial and physical aspects of properties.
  • Research property performance inquiries and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that borrowers adhere to and comply with covenants.
  • Conduct intensive analysis and make recommendations for underperforming loans.
  • Assist with special projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Coursework in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Candidate has completed "Junior" year of college (or equivalent credit hours) or is in Graduate school.
  • GPA Minimum Requirement: 3.2
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
