Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144In May 2022, KeyBank/Laurel Road acquired the student-loan consultation firm, GradFin. GradFin, which is organized under Laurel Road, provides clients with options to manage student loan debt, including refinance and government programs such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and Income Driven Repayment (IDR). GradFin obtains client referrals primarily through a network of 8,000 financial advisors, corporate and hospital partnerships. This role will be part of GradFin/Laurel Road's Well-Managed team, which is charged with the design and execution of a comprehensive roadmap to own and manage risk, elevate the risk management culture, and support sound profitable growth for Laurel Road. This first line of defense (1LOD) team helps strategize and execute against Laurel Road's risk management priorities to enhance the risk management framework. Job Overview The Senior Risk Manager for GradFin will focus on the GradFin businesses and processes to help manage through internal and external issue resolution all the way through second line verification work to mitigate and eliminate risk. They will review operational processes and identify areas of improvement for risk and control management. The Risk Manager will also collaborate internally with marketing, product, technology, operations, and other business partners to manage risk within the 1st LOD. The Risk Manager will conduct industry research and share industry best practices. This role may have management responsibility for more junior members of the team. Essential Job Functions:

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $110,000 to $135,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
