Reimagine What's Possible

We are seeking an Administrative Assistantto join our Glenmont facility and provide essential support to site operations. The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role at our Glenmont facility, ensuring that processes and records are consistently up to date while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with all customers. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, solutions-oriented professional, with a strong ethical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and track invoices using SAP.
  • Coordinate annual hearing tests and quarterly drug/alcohol screenings for drivers, mechanics, and operators.
  • Enter daily NTS (National Transportation System) data for Messer deliveries from operations reports.
  • Oversee BSP (Best Safety Practices) site maintenance for operations and distribution.
  • Organize site events, including celebrations, holiday events, and charity initiatives.
  • Manage the procurement of site supplies, including driver uniforms and PPE.
  • Track and manage APT submissions.
  • Update customer directives in LBShell.
  • Assist the Terminal Supervisor with new hire onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate fuel deliveries and oversee shipping needs via FedEx and other carriers.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the driver's room.
  • Oversee weekly time reporting, including vacation and sick time.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and materials for monthly safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Air Products Safety Training programs.
  • Review and correct daily driver logs as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and provide assistance with MOBY system issues.
  • Perform daily reviews and closings of product trip reports.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements using the Air Products Travel system.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
