As St. Jude continues to grow, we recognize the need to maximize the funds we receive. One way we can do this is by developing and administering energy-efficient programs meant to optimize energy usage and reduce utility costs across the Institution. To achieve this goal, we will need a Energy Engineer to help guide us in increasing energy-efficiency and further developing renewable sources of energy.
Some of the main tasks for the Energy Engineer are: * Commissioning and Retro-commissioning * Develop Energy and Emissions Baseline * Perform Energy audits and Impact analysis * Lead Benchmarking * Lead Equipment-level Energy Projects * Support EEM Implementation * Utility Rebate Programs and Incentives * Demand Response * Equipment Upgrades You'll need a bachelor degree and at least 5 years related, progressively responsible experience in facilities energy-efficient planning, design, construction, or a related industry. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
