Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Must hold current USCG Assistant Engineer License. EDUCATION Extensive seafood or related industry experience preferred. Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES & LICENSES Appropriate licenses/permits of trade (e.g., CG license of appropriate horsepower, STCW, etc.) when required. EXPERIENCE Factory Trawlers:

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand,walk,use hands and fingersand reach withand armshands. The employee is occasionally required to sit,climb,balance,stoop, kneel, crouchor crawl. The employee must also be able to talk and hear.The employee must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
