Position Description

The role of ERP Systems Analyst revolves around analyzing and optimizing the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure it meets the business' requirements and objectives. By effectively analyzing and optimizing the data in the ERP system, the ERP Systems Analyst contributes to improving operational efficiency, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and driving overall organizational success. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Key Competencies Required to be Successful as a ERP Systems Analyst:



  • Data Analysis and Management: Analyze data stored within the ERP system to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through effective management practices.
  • Data Integration and Migration: Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized ERP systems. Manage data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the process.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Implement data standards and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis using various tools to extract insights and identify trends. Communicate findings to support decision making.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize the ERP system for their daily tasks. Offer guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and best practices to maximize user adoption and satisfaction. Troubleshoot issues and address user queries related to data systems and processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to ERP system configurations, processes, user guides, and training materials. Ensure documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and business units. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ERP system to meet specific business requirements. Work closely with vendors and IT teams to implement changes, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


Education/Certification/Licenses



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in ERP related data analysis/ management within a large-scale organization.
  • Relevant certifications in data analysis/ visualization tools preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) fluency in business and technical communications desired.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP system, inventory management software, or similar tools.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, database management, and data systems implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and data security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Infor's CloudSuite Distribution, ISM or CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
