SENIOR PROGRAM BUYER

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN
-WORLD HEADQUARTERS

As a member of the Purchasing team, the Senior Program Buyer will be responsible for all purchasing pre and post launch activity focusing on the program team, supplier and customer requirements integrating data/quote management, contract negotiations, tool timing, CR/CN process flow, Profile management, complete launch readiness, etc.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:



  • Extensive work experience, discipline and independence to accomplish successful closure of purchasing goals
  • Alignment with internal program teams/customers to negotiate contract requirements
  • Ensures data management required to meet program timelines
  • Familiarity with commercial terms and performance to target concepts required

Your Qualifications:



  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Requires minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Automotive cross-functional experience is a plus
