Description

The Director of Revenue Assurance & Retail Operations provides leadership, technical expertise, and effective execution in areas of data analytics and utilization of data for more effective outcomes, manufacturer merchandising support, sales process optimization, retail deal team operations, and supporting the organization's digital transformation efforts (Future Ready Holt). The individual in this role, manages, develops, and executes strategies and tactics that increase sales effectiveness, go-to-market processes & velocity, market share, data-driven decision-making, profitability, and overall achievement of the Company's goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:



  • Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
  • Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Collaborates with various internal and external leaders ensuring proper understanding of opportunities, effective plans, execution of strategies and tactics, and exceptional adoption into the broader organization
  • Drives Dynamic sales process solutions to remove barriers, increase velocity, provide consistency, and eliminate waste to more attain market share, volume, and profitability targets effectively
  • Collaborates Cross-Departmentally to Execute sales, program maximization, data analytics, technology transformation, and value realization initiatives
  • Executes solution-focused and enterprise-driven planning and problem-solving measures to support the attainment of business objectives effectively
  • Influences, Initiates, and Executes organizational and business unit specific learning, comprehension, plans, and effective execution of strategies and tactics to successfully achieve business objectives
  • Creates and Executes effective Strategies and Tactics around data utilization, sales effectiveness, and velocity, sales management process, program utilization, and technology transformation
  • Monitors and evaluates the competitive landscape and Collaborates to gain consensus on effective and timely adaptations to achieve goals and objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation

  • Highly effective and frequently utilized listening, questioning, and comprehension capabilities
  • Proficient with planning, problem-solving, organization, analysis, process reengineering, multi-tasking, and prioritization of activities
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), SalesForce CRM, and Microsoft ERP
  • Strong influencing capabilities and effective at working with all levels of the organization

  • Strong EQ and self-management capabilities
  • Firm knowledge of the sales management process, data analytics, financial statements and principles, change management, process reengineering, and the retail business model in the industrial space
  • Highly effective at selecting, developing, coaching, leading and managing employees
  • Skilled at producing (through others and self) high volumes of accurate and precise work product


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, Finance or Marketing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Eight years of directly related business management and/or operational management experience leading diverse sales teams and offering a broad range of product offerings required
  • At least 3 years of previous management experience is required
  • Experience in the construction equipment rental industry preferred
  • Experience managing sales teams and diverse product offerings


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Travel:



  • Up to 10%


Physical Requirements:



  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
  • This role frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines


Work Environment:



  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
