Description

Overview: The Quality Assurance Analyst will work on an agile team conducting testing (manual and automated), of ETL processes, data migration, and end to end scenarios. This individual will work in a rapid, iterative environment with short feedback loops, and a focus on testing efficiencies and ensuring that software developed will address the organization's business need or problem as defined in user stories and in adherence to the defined acceptance criteria.

Quality Assurance:



  • Contribute to the team's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, designing, documenting, and executing tests in support of the agile development process.
  • Develop robust test strategies for ETL processes and data migrations.
  • Partner with developers to improve and automate test processes.
  • Work closely with business partners to identify and execute end to end test scenarios.
  • Participates in code reviews to clarify requirements, validate test cases, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Conduct exploratory testing and other manual testing as needed
  • Identify and track defects; work with developers and business analysts to identify, isolate and resolve issues.
  • Ensures test environments are properly configured and available for each release as scheduled.
  • Promotes necessary level of communication among the product team(s) to ensure QA efforts are appropriate, visible, and well understood.
  • Advocate for maintaining a high-quality bar, making sure quality, and testing is an integral part of development.
  • Contribute to the team's effectiveness and efficiency by educating, supporting, and setting an example of software development best practices as related to testing.


Qualifications:



  • 3 - 8+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Business Analyst or a combined Business Analyst/QA Analyst role in a high performance and dynamic team environment.


Required Skills/Experience:



  • Experience with control testing and transactional testing
  • Experience developing and documenting the test scripts for control and transactional tests
  • Experience with Agile Scrum User Stories
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft D365/Power Platform
  • Proficiency with ETL concepts
  • Experience with .NET or .NET Core using C#


Soft Skills:



  • Excellent analytical ability and communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with business personnel and IS management and staff.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully deploy new processes across the IS organization.

Salary:

Location A: $85.000- $116,000

Location B: $94.000- $128,000

Location C: $102,000- $140,000
