Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Contract Administration Manager for its Corporate Legal Department operations based in Lenexa, Kansas. This individual will review, revision and negotiation of contracts for complex scope and/or high-dollar contracts, and supervise the work of direct reports.

Essential Functions:

    Identify, analyze and summarize contract risk points as they relate to a wide variety of scopes of work
  • Conduct complex contract negotiations with third-party customers
  • Oversee the processing of contract documents to ensure that operations understands and authorize contract terms
  • Initiate and oversee special projects in furtherance of operational collaboration and education
  • Serve as the principal contract liaison between operations, corporate departments and outside customers
  • Plan, develop, and conduct presentations for training purposes on a variety of topics; both remotely and in-person at branch locations
  • Supervise the work of others and mentor subordinate members of the department in accordance with their developmental aspirations and goals
  • Develop and tracks key metrics in order to improve performance outcomes for the department
  • Preform other related work as assigned


Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • 10 years experience in construction contract administration, management, evaluation, or related field
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business, law, or a related field, or comperable work experience
  • Ability to travel 20% annually
  • Highly skilled in developing contracts
  • 3-5 years of experience in a position of leadership with direct reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and task management
  • Ability to adapt and have fexibility in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions, to analyze complex information to interpret complex data; to effectively demonstrate negotiation
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies
  • Great ability to facilitate trainings and highly skilled in public speaking
  • Ability to create engaging content for said trainings
  • Extreme attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the field of construction; law; risk management preferred
  • Experience utilizing AI to streamline processes
  • Local to the Kansas City Metro area
