EnSafe is accepting applications for a Field Team Lead, Geologist to join our team in Pensacola, FL.

EnSafe has adeptly and concurrently executed hundreds of cleanups at military installations, Superfund sites, and Airports, including other Commercial, Federal, and State sites.

What we are looking for:

As a Field Team Lead Geologist, we seek a problems solver and an environmental strategist known for hands on practical experience in environmental consulting projects ranging from regulatory compliance tasks to site investigations, feasibility studies, and remediation design and implementation. Experience executing complex field events and written, and verbal communication are critical to success. We empower staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Planning, organizing, and scheduling field and O&M activities.
  • Conducting site investigation activities including monitoring well installations, downhole geophysics, sampling soil, groundwater, indoor air (VI), soil gas, sediment, surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and biota in accordance with FDEP and EPA SOPs.
  • Assisting Project Managers with CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum projects in various stages.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, work plans, and technical reports.
  • Interacting and interfacing with both clients, regulators, and subcontractors onsite
  • Assisting in the development of technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of a BS in Geology or Hydrogeology, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental related science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of environmental experience including oversight of contractors, air, soil, groundwater, wastewater sampling and drilling, field project planning and execution.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a background clearance.
  • Ability to travel overnight to support ongoing projects.
