DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Showcase and sell products while meeting customer needs and exceeding customer expectations
  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by organizing daily work schedule
  • Develop leads, follow-up on quotes, close sales, and foster customer relationships
  • Advise customers which products are best for their needs
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Complete contracts with customers as applicable
  • Monitor competitive pricing and products, and keep management informed
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintain product knowledge through training and hands-on opportunities and by studying vendor literature
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
  • This position is required to work in a busy office environment
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed in plant area to moving mechanical parts with risk of injury and risk of electrical shock
  • The noise level in the plant environment is usually loud
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Wear the proper protective equipment as required

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree required
  • BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • Five years' experience in sales and/or marketing required. Five years of industry sales experience preferred
  • Standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, color determination, near acuity, speaking, listening
