Field Service Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position is responsible for installing and serving a variety of automated doors and related materials, equipment, and control devices.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $30.00-$40.00 (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver's license
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Physical requirements, including: ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working overhead

WHAT WE PREFER

• Electrical license or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments
• 2+ years experience as an automatic door installer or service technician AAADM certification
