Academic rank, tenure track, and salary are commensurate with qualifications and college promotion and tenure criteria.The Department of Dietetics and Nutrition houses two academic programs: Master of Science Dietetics Internship (MSDI) and Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition (MSCN). The MSCN program is offered 100% online. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in human nutrition or equivalent degree; evidence of effective teaching/mentorship to graduate students; demonstrated potential for scholarly activity, including research and publication. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Ph.D. in human nutrition with community nutrition emphasis or equivalent degree 2. Prior university teaching and student supervision 3. Ability to develop and conduct an externally funded research program 4.
