The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems is considered a technical and commercial expert in the Articulated Arm Measurement Systems product line, and is responsible for sales of that product line in a defined sales territory, which may also include some Key Accounts.Although the Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems is responsible for Articulated Arm Measurement Systems, Scanners, LOK products, and accessories, it is also their responsibility to champion the "Hexagon Advantage" with every customer, ensuring that customer needs are met with the appropriate Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence product or service.

The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems functions within the Commercial Operations organization in North America, across a specific territory, and reports directly to a CO Manager.This includes, most importantly, constant analysis of how our products "fit" within the local market, how we attack the local market, and how our organization can better support our local customers.

The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems duties for selling in an individual territory include revenue generation, long term development of the sales territory, increased market share, reliable forecasting, and delivery of profitable orders for Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems is primarily responsible for meeting sales goals by working directly with new and existing customers and utilizing technical expertise to interact consultatively with a variety of industrial customers.This is a high level complex sale that requires professionalism and a technical aptitude.An ability to build rapport and communicate well with a variety of people, within many levels of the customer's organization, is critical.

These tasks also require a close working relationship with many internal departments, most importantly, other Sales Engineers, Applications, Service, CRG, BDR, COS, Marketing, Product Management, and Production.Friendly and productive cooperation with each of these organizations is required, and it is their responsibility to maintain these relationships.

The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems must use SFDC as the primary Customer Relationship Management tool, and is expected to maintain the local database, respond to leads and tasks promptly, use the tools for reliable forecasting, review significant dashboards, and quote using the CPQ systems within SFDC.

The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems must comply with Finance's requirements for commission tabulation, adhere to HR rules regarding Travel Expenses, and help make certain that the local Solutions Centers are operating as well as possible for our customer's benefit.

The Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems exhibits strict adherence and support of all corporate standards including but not limited to ethics policy, travel policy, export policy, compliance laws, Non- Disclosure Agreements, and CRM system requirements.In addition, the Sales Engineer - Articulated Arm Measurement Systems maintains high standards for product knowledge, customer satisfaction, and sales professionalism.

Qualifications

* Minimum- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably with technical training.

* Three years of sales experience in an industrial environment, with a strong record of sustained success.

* Three years of Business experience.

* Strong Metrology background and aptitude.

* Team oriented, with the ability to work successfully within a small group.

* Salesforce.com experience.

* Willingness to travel considerably, up to 75%.

* Embrace challenge and change.

* Holds self to high personal standards.
