Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • They are responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
  • They collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • They serve in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
  • They support the organization's vision and mission. They utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
  • They contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Six months previous nursing experience required.
  • Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire required.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire required.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Nursing (BSBN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
