Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Peer Instructor Job Summary University College provides services and programs to assist incoming students in transitioning to Illinois State University. The Julia N. Visor Academic Center is seeking a motivated undergraduate Peer Instructor to co-teach IDS 128: Thriving in College, Career, and Beyond. This course is designed to support incoming students in their transition to ISU life. This position offers an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students who are interested in gaining leadership experience while guiding their peers through the opportunities and challenges of their first year at ISU. Additional Information Duties will also include: Pay Rate $14.00 hourly Required Qualifications - Applicants must have an overall GPA of at least a 2.5 Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of campus resources and support services available to students Work Hours This position requires approximately 4-6 hours per week, including class time, office hours/preparation, and biweekly meetings.
