Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering - Career & STEM Outreach Assistant Student Worker

The College of Engineering seeks a conscientious and energetic student to serve as a Career & STEM Outreach Assistant, reporting to the Director of Professional Development with other duties and responsibilities to support the College at large. This role is an incredible opportunity to learn about professionalism, meet a variety of employers and explore how to become a leader in higher education Career Development & Employer Relations. The Assistant's responsibilities will include:

• Career/opportunities research using the internet, Handshake, LinkedIn and interactions with employers/industry/alumni;
• Drafting strategic communications via regular career newsletters, social media and professional correspondence;
• Administrative tasks, event set-up and clean-up, meticulous note-taking and warm hospitality support for employer, admissions, alumni and professional development events.
