Mortgage Processor

The Mortgage Processor II is responsible for processing mortgage loan documents and applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with government regulations and bank policies. They provide comprehensive assistance to Mabrey Mortgage and perform various loan administration duties. Additionally, the Mortgage Processor II is expected to collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain courteous and professional communication with both co-workers and customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three plus years of loan-related experience
• Knowledge of agency underwriting guidelines including: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA
• Proficient use of a personal computer
• Ability to type a net of 60 words per minute
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Three plus years of secondary market mortgage processing experience or equivalent
• Familiarity with bank audit policies and procedures
• Knowledge of lending-related bank policies, procedures, and government regulations

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week which are scheduled at the discretion of the supervisor. Hours vary depending on business needs.
