Location Job Description General Summary: The TechQuity Health Lab (THL) is a research lab at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago focused on identifying and building data and technology applications that can improve outcomes and reduce health gaps faced by underserved communities in the US and abroad. The THL is led by Dr. Juan Espinoza, Chief Research Informatics Officer for the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Broadly, the THL covers projects related to the use of data, technology, and informatics tools as applied to 1) Clinical Care, 2) Health Information Systems, 3) Medical Device Development and Regulation, and 4) Global Health. The Director, TechQuity Health Lab (THL), serves as the scientific and administrative leader of the THL, and is a critical partner to Dr. Espinoza in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning and growth for the lab. The Director will provide scientific and administrative oversight for research lab staff and students, as well as technical guidance to vendors and IT collaborators. This individual will make meaningful contributions to manuscript writing, data analysis, grant development, and grant administration. Essential Job Functions:
