SUMMARY Provide back-office Deposit Operations services to First Interstate Bank branches by supporting the branches in their efforts to provide accurate, prompt, and courteous service to their customers regarding their Deposit Accounts as well as Reconciliation and Unclaimed Property support tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy while maintaining excellent client service to internal and external clients. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE One-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES Basic use and understanding of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk & use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
