Job Description: Provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services within the specialty of Interventional Radiology and may also possess additional subspecialty expertise. Incumbents will be required to participate in call coverage. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to assist in the development and maintenance of a new independent interventional radiology department independent of diagnostic radiology at a major tertiary hospital in the twin cities. The candidate should be adept at a broad spectrum of interventional procedures including TIPS/BRTO, radioembolization, ablation, peripheral arterial and venous procedures including thrombolysis, hepatobiliary, GI, lymphatic and genitourinary interventions, non-neuro embolization, and dialysis access interventions. Ideal candidates will maintain certain diagnostic radiology skills such as hepatobiliary and vascular imaging in order to provide optimal service to the multidisciplinary groups, and to the practice.
