ChampionX is seeking a Commercial Facility Maintenance Mechanic to support the Chemical Technologies segment located in Sugar Land, Texas. Its primary responsibility is to support and maintain the foundational electrical platforms for building/equipment operations. It will also require mechanical/technical support for repairs and troubleshooting on a variety of campus equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Support and maintain the foundational electrical platforms for building/equipment operations
  • Mechanical/technical support for repairs and troubleshooting on a variety of campus equipment.
  • Primary lead on supporting electrical needs, planning, scheduling to support campus service request.
  • Performing and document Preventive Maintenance on platforms throughout the facility.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair and make modifications as needed across the facility systems to assure business continuity and support general handyman service request throughout the day.
  • Test equipment to confirm voltage, current and resistance values to assist with troubleshooting connectivity and circuits
  • Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Understand and support routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair directives.
  • Use test equipment to confirm voltage, current and resistance values to assist with troubleshooting connectivity and circuits.
  • Occasional weekday/weekend overtime availability
  • Available for "on-call" rotation responsibility

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Texas State licensed electrical journeyman
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial facility support
  • Ability to comprehend and comply with documents such as safety rules/regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to safely lift and/or carry moderate weight (up to 50 pounds)
  • Able to safely climb stairs/ladders daily

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Commercial Construction Supervisory / Management experience
