Job Description:
Mission Essential is seeking Maritime Imagery Analysts to support a new mission at
the NMIC with ONI in support of the GEOINT PED Watch for watch positions. Shift work
will be required and rotating shift work will be necessary.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Provide imagery analysis and exploitation support for maritime/operational related issues. The Maritime Imagery Analyst shall provide GEOINT based exploitation reports using multiple formats consistent with GEOINT PED watch SOP. This support shall primarily be the exploitation of tactical airborne sensors within NSG and/or equivalent NSG standard exploitation systems.
* Participate in testing and analysis of new algorithm outputs and capabilities, to include data labeling in support of maritime GEOINT objects.
* Develop and maintain desktop procedures, techniques and methodologies related to ONI, Navy and maritime missions.
* Assist with training of rotating or new personnel that may augment the overall GEOINT PED Watch. This training may include hands-on instruction, analyst-to-analyst exchanges, or working aids.
Qualifications:
* 2 years of practical work experience exploiting NTM and/or airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance imagery - Full Motion Video (FMV)
* 1 year experience writing technical products, reports, and briefs.
* Formal military imagery analysis training or equivalent civilian remote sensing certification
* Familiarity with NTM GEOINT tasking and collection requirements mechanisms and tools.
* Experience using three or more of the following imagery and GIS systems and tools (or equivalent): Socet GXP, RemoteView Pro, iSPY, Advanced Motion Platform (AMP), Orchestration Services (formally Cedalion), National Consolidated Library (NCL), or Imagery Exploitation Capability (IEC)
