Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator (Safety and Compliance) for Student Affairs.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Develops, implements, evaluates, and organizes system-wide quality improvement policies, procedures, and training, related to Rutgers Student Health (RSH) patient care and operations.
- Handles standardized tracking and documentation of RSH staff compliance, patient/staff satisfaction, ensuring optimal individual and organizational performance through assessment, quality improvement, and successful re-accreditation by AAAHC.
- Maintains and manages risk for the organization and coordinates the RSH Infection Control program.
- Analyzes quality and compliance data, provides comprehensive reports and identifies areas for improvement.
- Manages RSH administrative records, coordinates, and participates in, multiple committees, and is part of the RSH administrative team while handling detail-oriented responsibilities and coordination.
- Supervises confidential records management for Quality and Compliance.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function that includes coordination of work and management of people.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, and Qualtrics.
- Attention to detail and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications |
- Masters degree.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA.
- Strong knowledge of quality, compliance and accreditation.
- Experience in compliance investigations and monitoring and auditing.
- Ability to develop monitoring techniques, analyze and report on data and develop training materials and programs.
- Ability to train university partners on HIPAA.
- Experience in developing policies and procedures.
- Experience in implementing trainings and safety program.
- 2-4 years experience in QI, auditing, training and accreditation.
