Position Summary:

The Practice Transformation Psychologist is responsible for all aspects of implementing and sustaining changes in the clinical practice model as required by funding sources, state licensing requirements/contracts/regulations, federal contracts/regulations, accreditation standards, and recognized best practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration and partnership with leadership of Community Healthlink and service groups, address identified areas of practice in need of transformation given current gaps in clinical practice, population needs, internal and external expectations for the clinics, and best practices in the field
  • Using best practices in implementation science, design the implementation plan for practice change/improvement
  • Manages the practice transformation process for identified changes
  • Mentors/coaches managers and staff in the practice change
  • Works in coordination and collaboration with the Quality Improvement team to present and use data to improve quality of services.
  • Practice changes include, but are not limited to: group therapy, the use of identified evidence-based practices for the populations served, culturally competent practice with diverse populations in the community, primary care and behavioral health integration, gaps or deficiencies in standard clinical practices as currently required and those necessary to meet changes in the health care system.
  • Supervise and mentor masters- and doctoral-level students in their practicum and internship training
  • Develop, in collaboration and partnership with leadership, practicum and internship training programs
  • Participation as a member of the Adult Outpatient Services and Quality Improvement teams.
  • Performs other job related duties

Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities:

Position Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Health Services Provider
  • 5 years of clinical practice as a psychologist including experience in a community based behavioral health clinic
  • 2 years of clinical supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated successful experience in practice transformation

Preferred Skills or Attributes:

  • Demonstrated successful experience providing group therapy
  • Demonstrated successful experience in implementing evidence-based practice(s)
  • Demonstrated desire to serve diverse, underserved, and under-resourced populations
  • Demonstrated commitment to health equity
  • Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish) a plus
