Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is searching for an Associate Program Manager to join our team in Orlando, FL. The right individual should be well organized and a good communicator with the ability to thrive in fast-paced high-stress situations. This individual will support the Saab Program Management team within the Training & Simulation business area.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with monitoring subcontractor and vendor performance across T&S projects; assistance with program schedule development and maintenance; assistance with collecting and reporting project status items.

  • Tracks and facilitates compliance within program management-related SOPs and assists with development of new SOPs as necessary.

  • Assigned to small projects across T&S portfolio.

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and software deliveries to both customers and internal teams as necessary. Coordinate and assist with preparing briefings for program management reviews (PMRs) or integrated product teams (IPTs).

  • Develop and track simple budgets within T&S projects.

  • Coordinate across functional areas (Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to support program tasks.

  • Learn the project management cycle, including execution and review master project cycles and program plans.

  • Assist with maintaining program documentation, such as risk registers, deliverables tracking, statements of work, etc.

  • Assist with documenting and updating Saab, Inc. processes and procedures related to program management.

  • Familiarity of key program management concepts and fundamentals is a plus.

  • 5-10% of time may include travel, both Domestic and International.

Compensation Range: $61,600- $75,500

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; OR enrollment in an accredited degree program, with a major in a related field.

  • 1+ years of relevant experience

  • Basic understanding of program plans

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Organizational skills

  • Close attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
