Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a candidate to fill a new graduate Transportation Engineer Intern position in the Tallahassee office or Bonifay (alternate) office. Come join a team that will jump start your career. Position Profile This position is open to various experience levels and offers excellent growth opportunities. Civil engineering students with a December 2024 graduation date are encouraged to apply. The person selected will be expected to work on, and ultimately lead, roadway and/or drainage tasks on roadway projects including using MicroStation Open Roads Design (ORD) for development of construction plans. The position entrails collaboration with engineers in the Tallahassee and other Hanson offices. Projects will generally involve roadway and highway design projects for local governments, state departments of transportation, toll authorities, and private clients. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: You will work with a team of engineers on design and production of all aspects of roadway design including horizontal and vertical alignments; intersection layout; corridor modeling; drainage design; ROW, cross sections; utility plans; signing & marking; and quantity/cost estimating. This position will entail communication with the project managers and engineers on key issues and project progress. Duties and Responsibilities
