As a WCS-6 SATCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will:

A week in the life of a WCS-6 SATCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will:

• Provide deployment, logistics, system engineering, life cycle sustainment engineering, integration, and production support for Department of Defenses (DoD) and Navy qualified systems and subsystems to Government customers
• Support Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force and Department of Homeland Security customers and programs.
• Using technical documentation and troubleshooting aids, provide diagnostic and troubleshooting functions
• Mentor and train other staff and personnel.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Have Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A/B/C military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM WSC-6 system specific training.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience on SATCOM Communications Systems Communications experience to include at least five (5) years of hands-on experience
• Minimum of five (5) year's experience with WCS-6 Systems
• Secret Clearance
