A week in the life of a Software Development Engineer includes:

• Oversight and management of all internally created software supporting the DTOC as well as consulting with and supporting some externally created and managed software supporting DTOC DMO
• Coordinates with external agencies and development activities on DTOC related software development related topics and activities
• Provides status, guidance and recommendations to DTOC leadership on all DTOC software development and maintenance related topics and activities

• Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
• SECRET clearance
• Four (4) year degree or Two (2) year degree with 2-years practical experience
• Experience in all aspects of software programming languages, design, architectures and application development and maintenance
• Minimum two (2) years' experience with DMO related software applications, scheduling tools and environment generator applications
