Job Description

We are looking for a Program Analyst with a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!

As a Program Analyst, you will:



  • Analyze project requirements, statuses, budgets and schedules.
  • Performs project management, technical or business case analyses.

A week in the life of a Program Analyst:



  • Participate as a member of and/or support the specified Project and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to projects.
  • Track project status and schedules.
  • Apply policies and procedures for financial planning.
  • Provide program and project management support to identify and mitigate program risks.
  • Assist our Program Manager in the research and analysis of technical and management information and data, performance trends, and project progress on reported programs
  • Participate in program design reviews, technical reviews, audits, and discussions.


Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • At least four (4) years of recent and relevant technical experience in project management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years there must be two (2) years of recent and relevant technical experience in technical efforts supporting systems and components development.
  • In lieu of a BS or BA degree, we will also accept an AS or AA degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management or a related technical discipline and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant technical experience; OR an additional six (6) years of recent and relevant technical experience. These four (4) years or six (6) years of experience, respectively, are in addition to the required minimum of four (4) years to meet the "Experience" requirements above, therefore, requiring a total of eight (8) years or ten (10) years of experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Defense policy and documentation related to PPBS and life-cycle management of acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
